Adulting 101

This 8-week online course helps teenagers develop valuable life skills. Taught by professors and community educators from the University of Kentucky, students will apply their learning with real-world, interactive assignments and ongoing projects.  

Program Schedule

From June 16 to August 4, weekly lessons will be held Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. (EST) / 2:00 p.m. (CST).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to attend every class in real time?

While joining in real-time allows students to ask questions and get the most out of every topic, lessons will be recorded and made available to all participants. 

Can I enroll after June 16? 

Yes. Prior lesson recordings will be available for those who enroll after June 16. 

What if the cost is a burden for me? 

Fee waivers are available for students on free or reduced lunch. Email with the subject line “Adulting 101” for more information. 

What will I receive after completing the course? 

In addition to a lifetime of practical knowledge, participants will receive University of Kentucky swag based upon their level of engagement and assignment completion.
